The Purpose of the Board of Ethics is to foster integrity in government, promote public confidence, help Town officers and employees to discharge their official duties without fear of unwarranted accusations of unethical conduct, and to ensure all officers and employees will be impartial and accountable to the people.

Meetings:

The Putnam Valley Board of Ethics Scheduled Meetings are every 2nd Wednesday of the month, at 10:00 AM at the Lake Peekskill Community Center.

We meet except in cases of unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather. If the Putnam Valley Schools and/or Town Hall is closed, then the meeting will be held the following Wednesday.

Requests for opinions or complaints should be made in writing; however, any citizen may appear at our monthly meeting with a request.
